About Me

Mr Aggrey Wunyi is a distinguished public officer, an accomplished academic giant, a profound writer and champion of the Ubuntu, the Humanist approach in Management.

His academic exploits have afforded him a Ph.D (Honoris Causa) awarded in recognition of his ethical and value based leadership, an MBA awarded by Makerere University Kampala, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from UMI, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University, Kampala and an Advanced Certificate in Public Administration from Midlands University.

Mr. Wunyi's 24 years of service have been rich and impactful. He now serves as Under Secretary and Accounting Officer of the Uganda Police Force, the largest workforce with a presence in all the corners of the Country. His consumate understanding and intellectual approach has enabled UPF to solve the welfare and housing stress that characterised the Force, solving the burdensome debts owed to utility companies and suppliers, increasing the transport logistics base of the Force, spreading the uptake of IT in the Force and more particularly increasing access to the internal stakeholders.

Mr Wunyi's writings (The Agony of A Rising Star and The Endless Struggles) have had a particular influence to the common man because the story telling approach resonates with the common man.

By his Ubuntu spirit, Mr Wunyi comes out as a person with a big heart, an open source of inspiration to everyone. His strict keeping of statutory deadlines to pay salaries and suppliers have removed the Police from the anti people organisations. The morale of the people he serves has been improved with it, the adherence to Promote and serve the People of Uganda improved.
